We got a
bacteria kit from Steve
Spangler this past Christmas and decided to start exploring bacteria
today. We mixed together a growing medium and then went around
the house gathering invisible bacteria and spreading them in the
growing medium in Petri dishes. We then put them in a dark
spot to grow for three days and then we'll get to check them and see
what all yucky stuff we grew.

We were surprised to see
that there was virtually no difference in the spot where we added
the antibacterial gel. It did not kill the bacteria in our
test! Ugh!
YUCK!!!!!
