The other night I heard an eerie, strange
scream coming from the woods behind our house. I'd never heard
anything like it before. I decided that it was definitely a
pterodactyl. I found a clip of the same sound on YouTube.
Listen to the "video" below. There is no picture since it was
filmed in the dark but the sound is there. Sound like a
pterodactyl to you?
Well, it turns out that is it NOT a
pterodactyl but really a.....
FOX, a vixen fox (female)
From my research, it appears that vixen
foxes call out for their mates using this strange cry. Weird, huh?
I love it though.
