Yesterday, we all brought the
mold we had been growing to the park to show each other - our Grow &
Show. After sharing, we presented the kids with various
"gross" things. Some things were to eat and some things
were to touch.
molted tarantula skin (exoskeleton)
earthworms
holding a baby octopus
they actually were very cool
eating ticks & blood (raisins in
ketchup)
eating moldy cheese (blue cheese)

chicken feet!!
The chicken feet turned out to be the
big hit of the party.
When you pull on the tendons, the
toes move!!!!

This was our Grow & Show display.
We saw yucky molded bread, lemons, hamburgers, apples, cheese,
onions, oranges, etc.
It was interesting to see the
difference between preservative free bread vs. grocery store bread
after 3 weeks of growing time! No more grocery store bread for
us!
